Waited nearly 2 years to write this review because I see no point in writing one when it's new. Nobody wants to find out it's a piece of crap a year down the line. I've had mine 19 months now and I still love it. I use this as my only fridge since my roommates have left me no space in our kitchen fridge, so I keep all my food in this little Igloo. It's heavy. I couldn't lift it and had to have a neighbor do it and even he struggled. It's very good quality so I'm not even going to complain on that.A lot of space. The fridge runs deep, so if you position your bottles right and use stackable containers, you can fit A LOT in this fridge. It's insane. You can fit about 8 soda cans inside the door. Me personally, I keep sodas stacked, with vegetables in the bottom tray, lay my condiment bottles down on the 2nd row above that, keep food stored on the 2nd row and use the top 3rd row for keeping stuff extra cold since it's near the freezer. Not really a true "freezer". The freezer works very good but it's only to keep small things frozen. It does not get cold enough to keep food that's suppose to be frozen, frozen, so do not put stuff like ice cream, large packs of meat or any thick frozen dinners in it, they will melt and spoil and you'll think of my review and I'll be like I told you so. I use it to keep small things like butter, hotdog packs, wingettes and vegetables on ice, but do not try to put anything thick in here for long-term storage except butter, small packs of meat and condiments. I had put a 12 pack of chicken legs in there for a week thinking it would be ok and they went bad, I had to throw out the whole pack. It's also useful to get drinks cold fast. And no you can't remove the freezer tray to make more space. I but found it's welded to the back of the fridge and the thermostat wiring is welded into it.Swappable doors. The door comes off so can switch it to the other side if you want.Easy to clean. All the inside shelves and doors easily pop out for easy cleaning; just be careful when popping out the freezer flap because it only has plastic hinges that could break and you'd need a new flap. I had a soda explode in there and it took me 4 months before I decided to clean it. Surprisingly, all I had to do was wipe it down with water and dish soap and it came right off. Easy peasy.Adjustable feet. The front has two plastic adjustable feet while the back has no feet, just a metal bar. I have raggedy wooden floors so I don't care, but if you have nice floors you'll want to put a rubber mat under it so it doesn't scratch your good floors.A few tips:Use the bottom row for condiments and lay them down rather than standing them up so you can have more vertical space for another tray or just to place extra stuffIf you use a tray in the very top slot, it will get like 80% benefit of the freezer and will keep things frozen. Found this out the hard way when I put some cucumbers on my top shelf only to find them frozen bricks the next dayAlthough I love my Igloo, I took away a star because over time it has gotten LOUD. All of a sudden, every time the thermostat kicks on there's a very loud *POP* that is nerve-racking. I don't know if something is breaking or if it's normal but it still seems to run fine and it's been doing that popping gig for about a year now. It's probably ok but just really annoying.+++Update+++Fridge is now 4 years old, I've moved and it's still going strong!! Definitely worth the money at this point :DWe actually just got rid of this refrigerator - it lasted about four and a half years before the compressor gave out. I like that you could write on the front of the fridge but was hoping for at least five years. It's okay but likely has about a five year lifespan. IMO, I think a mini fridge should last about 7 to 10 years - it worked well for 4 1/2 years - just did not last long enough. The fridge is great, if the can holder in the door had matched the posted pics in the ad, I would give five stars instead of four. The pics show the cans as being in separate holders that can be easily and individually retrieved. This would have allowed easy retrieval of a variety of cans. What actually showed up was a can dispenser that cans can only be retrieved at the bottom meaning if a variety of cans are loaded up and you wanted the third can up, you have to pull out a few cans to get to it. I feel that the manufacturer must have updated the fridge design but the seller did not update their photos. Also the measurements stated would have matched the cabinet I wanted to install it in. The actual measurements were wider causing me to have to modify the cabinet opening. Fortunately, I had the space to do so otherwise the fridge would have needed to be returned.Mine arrived a few days early which made me happy but I was a little disenhearted to see a hole on the box. Sure enough, upon opening, the fridge had a dent and some scratches on the outside. That explained the hole. The inside was in good condition however. Things were taped and foam had been used to make sure the glass didn't break and the outside cosmetic damage didn't affect that.I didn't want to write my review right away in case something came up though, in case the outside damage did mean something considering the other reviews -- one that also wrote to having a dent on their unit. The booklet says 4 is a good setting to keep things cold but I cranked it to 6 just in case and it's been going strong. The freezer keeps things frozen without freezer burn and my milk and veggies stay fresh. Still hesitant to lower it to 4 in case it isn't as strong but I hope 6 doesn't end up breaking it.I gave it 3 stars for the dent and for the power on keeping it cold. Since it works, I didn't bother to try and get a new one since it's so bulky. I'm content for now but I'll keep my eye on it.If you're deciding on a fridge and low on cash (since other ones are way more expensive here for this size) this is a decent alternative. Also, I dipped my dry erase markers in water and shook the pen like a shake weight to get it flowing and it didn't take long to work. People that lowered the review solely because of that should reconsider their experience with this fridge.Hope my review helped someone uvuMake sure you know, this is not one of those little cube fridges. Surprisingly, this thing actually has quite a bit of space (it's about one-fourth or one third the size of a regular standard no-frills fridge). The "can holder" on the door allows more than a six-pack to be slotted into that clever contraption, leaving even more room in the actual fridge. Easy set up. Shelve trays are highly adjustable so you can customize shelving for different sized goods. Freezer actually keeps things frozen including an ice tray that comes along with purchase. It is a very small freezer, though. But still, it's a freezer. This is solid and since it's only about $10 or $20 more than those little cube fridges (which I used to own) this is worth it. Also note, this fridge COMES WITH two of the markers with which you can use to write on the door. It's a nice concept and kind of fun for the kids, but you really can't read it all that clearly. Ink is kind of faint. But since the thing comes with those markers, don't be fooled into ordering an extra set that Amazon pushes as soon as you order this fridge. Good product. Works and is great for the man cave. Well priced.
